The International Education Consultancy is authorized by the Australian Government since 1990 as a sole representative in Sri Lanka for prospective students seeking higher education in prestigious Universities and Institutes in Australia. Since then over 2000 Sri Lankan students have successfully found placements and a number of them have secured lucrative employment in Australia.

In recognition of the services rendered, the Australian High Commission has authorized IEC to process & grant the Pre-Visa-Approval, an honour bestowed on Mr. S. S. Rajah, the Managing Director, whose services are sought after by students and their parents island wide.

IEC has subsequently expanded its services to Universities & Institutes of New Zealand, UK & Malaysia as well.

IEC offers the services of counseling prospective students, finding suitable placements for tertiary studies and also guides students in compiling documents to meet the visa requirements. Suitable accommodation arrangements and airport pick up is also coordinated for the student thus ensuring a smooth transition for the student at this stage.
